This was taken at a German graveyard in Belgium, lemme set the scene for you...
...you walk in through a small, dark sort of building, with dead soldiers names carved into the walls and through it you can see these watchmen statues staring at you from the other side of the graveyard. As you go in there is one massive pit that has thousands of German bodies thrown into it and as you walk up, through the rows of crosses, you walk towards these statues, all shadowy from the trees...

Oh damn, that place was fantastic, yet depressing as all hell. 'Specially when I saw that someone had placed a family and portrait photo of a german soldier on the pit.
